Jaimy Szymanski began working at Altimeter Group in 2011 as part of the company’s growing research team. Today, as a senior researcher, Jaimy’s interests lie in gamification, crowdsourcing, digital influence, innovation, and social TV. She has assisted in the creation of multiple open research reports while at Altimeter, on topics ranging from content marketing to social media risk management to social media strategy. Jaimy has also worked with Altimeter analysts on varied research and advisory projects for Fortune 500 companies in the telecomm, travel, pharmaceutical, financial, and technology industries.With a background in marketing and social media consulting, Jaimy’s career in research is driven by the desire to further the evolution of companies affected by digital disruption. When working with Altimeter’s clients, she contributes to driving meaningful business results by helping them adapt core strategies to new technologies.Jaimy has received degrees in Journalism (Advertising/Public Relations) and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. In her free time, she can be found being romanced by a new travel spot, checking out the latest San Francisco restaurant opening, sipping a speakeasy-era cocktail, discussing the latest episode of her favorite HBO shows (Game of Thrones, Girls, and Boardwalk Empire, for starters), and laughing with family and friends.
