Jessica is a Senior Researcher at Altimeter Group where she conducts research on disruptive technologies. Jessica specializes in digital strategy, Internet of Things, social data integration, content marketing, and customer experience, with a focus on how data is shifting business models and behaviors. Jessica’s current research centers around disruption in the face of data, but she has published studies on an array of topics, from mobile commerce, to sales enablement, to business sentiment surrounding economic pressures, and many more.
Prior to moving to the SF Bay Area, Jessica’s research experience lies mostly in academic anthropological field work, specifically in ethnographic, linguistic, and archaeological research both here and abroad. She received her Bachelors of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, as a double major in Anthropology and Spanish.
