Give Us Feedback for Our Website Redesign

Since our founding in 2008 by Charlene Li, Altimeter Group has grown by leaps and bounds. As of this posting we have seven partners and a team of sales, support, and research staff, with more to come.

That said, we’ve outgrown this site and blog – and we’re excited to unveil a new site that better represents who we are, what we do, and where we’re going.

To do this properly, we need your feedback. We’re fielding a website redesign user survey that consists of just nine questions. We want to know who you are, why you’ve come to our site, and how you think we can improve it.

Here is the survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/altimeterweb-usersurvey.

It’ll take you just 5-10 minutes to complete it – and we’d love to hear from you.

Thank you,
Christine Tran, Researcher

  1. How about the most basic thing possible – look at your site’s left side bar: the text links are almost the same colour as the background as it gets toward the lower part of the gradient, and you can’t read them.

usability 101 fail – come on! Hilarious.

    • Christine says:

Trevor, thanks for the comment – we’ve definitely taken note of this already. I hope you filled out our survey.

  2. I would focus instead of who you are what you do and where you are going you focus on who your customers are, what they do and where they are going. Your site visitors don’t care about who you are, they are coming there to see if you can solve their problem.

  3. I don’t understand why are you using wordpress 2.7.1. Using an old version, as far i know, might add security threat to your site.
why not upgrade to 2.9.2 or upcoming wordpress 3.0?

  4. You might want to tweak the blue fading on the left column. Other than that, it looks good. Not too busy.
